Jose Feliciano: “Great People, I Hope We Meet Again.”
Posted by: | CommentsWell I can’t tell you how much fun and how exciting it was to open for Jose Feliciano at the Casino Du Lac
Leamy in Ottawa-Hull.
The event was presented by The Jewel stations in Ottawa-Hull, Hawkesbury, Halifax and Toronto. The room was packed and Jose was terrific.
I was impressed by the humility of he and his band, great people. I hope our paths cross again.
Thank you to everyone who came out to the show.
There were actually a few couples who had been in Cuba to see me the week before and it was great to see them again.
Brian.
Jose Feliciano; “An Amazing Guy”!
Posted by: | CommentsHere I am with my family after the show in Ottawa-Hull.
Jose is an amazing guy, so humble and unassuming. I asked him before the show if he felt like a legend and he said, with a bit of an accent, not much of one, “No man, I just feel like me.”
Thanks for your words of support and encouragement Jose. What a blast!
Thanks to everyone at the Jewel stations in Ottawa, Hawkesbury and Toronto and Halifax.

Brian Roman to Sing for Toronto Rock at the Air Canada Centre.
Posted by: | CommentsI am going to sing the National anthems of the US and Canada for the Toronto Rock Game on Jan 23rd at the Air Canada Centre.
May God Bless America, and My Friends in Estero, Florida
Posted by: | CommentsIt was my honour to sing God Bless America…
…for a swearing in ceremony for the United States Military on
Veterans Day. During the Friday night Everblades game at Germain Arena in Estero for a crowd of about 5000 hockey fans.
I have since received many emails thanking me. We did not get that on video but we did get O’Canada and The Star Spangled Banner from the Wednesday night game.
Take care and thank you all,
Brian
Justin Needs Our Help
Posted by: | CommentsHello Everyone;
Meet Justin Grant. Justin is 5 years old and is currently having to visit the Hospital for Sick Children on a
pretty regular basis, most days.
You see Justin has cancer in his head and face. Justin and his mom could use some help, tragically, about a year ago, Justin’s dad died from a brain aneurysm, he was 31 years old.
The Romanettes and I are hosting a benefit concert at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham. All of the money from ticket sales will be given to Justin and his mom.
I have never met Justin or his mom. But overheard someone talking about him and asked if I might be able to help. I had not even ever met this person either.
The concert is July 2nd at Angus Glen. I must tell you all how amazing it is to see so many people step up to help;
- Angus Glen has donated the room and subsequent to sending out this email so many who can’t make the show have offered to donate money.
- Gary Gamble from 88.5FM The Jewel has asked me to come on the air and “Hockey with Heart” in Unionville/Markham called and asked what they could do to help. And hundreds of tickets sold in the first 2 hours.
The show will be in the grand hall at Angus Glen and will start at 7 pm and tickets are $30.00.
I will be joined on stage by Harry James and Alan Kennedy: “Forty Something” and Susan Brown. The show will be outstanding with great performances and plenty of variety. Thanks to Forty Something and Susan Brown for their time.
For tickets please contact
Ernie Mallisa @ (416) 577-1599
————————————————————————————————————————–
We are restricted to about 550 seats so please call Ernie now. If you are unable to attend but would like to make a contribution that would be very much appreciated and please call Ernie in that regard as well.
Please pray for Justin, his dad and his mom.
With gratitude and humility,
Brian
