Brian Roman: I Keep Meeting Wonderful People
Posted by: | CommentsHi Everyone.
A few months ago a told you about 6 year old Corry who had become a Brian Roman fan and how grateful I
was for that. Well here is her Aunt Annemarie whom I first met on a flight to Florida and Annemarie brought Corry an “As Long As I Have Music” CD, and Annemarie is seen here dancing with her Dad. Dad is doing so well, we are happy to say and his dancing is outstanding.
Oh and by the way I am looking forward to hearing from 3 year old Caden too.
Every good wish. Brian
Brian Roman:”Thank You Corry!”
Posted by: | CommentsHello Everyone;
On a recent flight to Florida I met an amazing Lady. She is as lovely inside as out and has an incredible
attitude toward life. Upon her arrival in Florida she went on line and bought “As Long As I Have Music”.
In a subsequent email she informed me that her 6 year old niece, Corry, pictured here, had become a big Brian Roman fan.
I can’t tell you all what an honour it is for me to know that someone special like Corry would enjoy what I do and listening to my CD. Corry you are awesome and I hope I get to meet you someday.
A very grateful Brian Roman

Cassandra Bourne: Great Neighbour for a Toronto Vocalist
Posted by: | CommentsTwo years ago I went to visit the doctor, I had a sore throat and as a vocalist, was a bit concerned.
I was advised that I should work more on vocal technique.
I wasn’t sure where to go and then our neighbours sold their house.
How fortuitous that my new neighbour was to be Cassandra Bourne. Call it what you will, the universe was working with this Toronto vocalist for sure.
Cassandra is an award-winning soprano who began her training at the Royal Conservatory of Music, where she was awarded the “Emily Tedd, and Ernesto Vinci scholarships. Eventually she became a Faculty member at the University of Toronto, and was the assistant conductor of the University of Toronto’s Women’s Chorus.
She has studied under some of the world’s most highly respected names in opera such as; Metropolitan Opera Sopranos Sharon Sweet, Renata Scotto, Evelyn Lear and Lorna MacDonald, William Neill and Dixie Ross Neill, Michael Evans, Michael McMahon and Order of Canada recipient Stuart Hamilton.
In addition to singing, Cassandra is continuously engaged as a Music examiner, adjudicator and keynote speaker, presenting seminars, workshops and master classes, abroad with the International Baccalaureate Organization, and throughout Canada at various competitions for the National Music Festival.
She also holds the positions of founder and Artistic Director of Arts Integra and the Arts Integra Opera Studio.
Cassandra’s performing expertise and immediate interests lie with the complete Operatic and Classical Vocal repertoire for the Lirico-Spinto and Dramatic Soprano with a concentration in Verdi, Strauss and Wagnerian roles.
She is fluent in English, French, German and Italian repertoire and is equally at home with all Vocal genres from Art Song and Opera, to R & B and Jazz.

Cassandra is a Great neighbour for a guy who needs to protect his voice.
